How to Perfect your Look this Summer with the Hottest Accessories

With balmy Summer days upon us, denim shorts and silk slip dresses make their timely debut, a celebration of my favourite season of fashion. Whilst Summer style is both effortless and fuss-free, if you’re looking for all the tips and tricks for keeping it simple with a statement – read on.

I was excited to see some of my absolute favourite colours trending on the Fashion Week runways - a kaleidoscope of bold and bright hues, a welcomed contrast to the usual muted tones. What seemed to be the most celebrated shade for SS 2020 is neon green and vibrant yellow. From strappy slips to a statement pair of barely-there heels, brands are illuminating their Summer range with these two have-to-have hues. Complete the look with a pair of minimal sunglasses in a monochrome palette. 

With sunglasses being the ALWAYS-hot accessory for the warmer months, the key to upgrade any outfit and stand out from the crowd is to build up a collection that you can have on rotate. You want a diverse collection that will cater to every mood – whether you’re feeling bold, feminine or edgy, you’ve got the pairing shades on standby.

From crystal clear to tinted hues, a good pair of sunglasses is undeniably the most versatile fashion accessory, pairing perfectly with everything in your wardrobe. Take it a step further and play around with adding jewellery into the equation, layering and mixing chain lengths for maximum impact. A piece in particular, which made a strong presence on the runways this year were hoops in every incarnation, everything from modernised pearls to high-shine jewels and bohemian tassels.

We have seen many Spring trends carry over to the Summer months, yet now we welcome some exciting new styles in 2020 which have inspired me to set up a shopping session with the girls.
